Children's Home & Care

Give Hope. Share Love.

Change a Child's Future.

Become part of a caring community at ZASO Children’s Home, where your kindness, encouragement, and time help children living with HIV grow with confidence, happiness, and hope for the future.

The Project

A Place Where Every Child Belongs.

ZASO Children’s Home provides a safe, loving environment where children living with HIV receive education, healthcare, emotional support and the simple, irreplaceable opportunity to enjoy being children.

Volunteers become part of the children’s daily lives by encouraging learning, sparking creativity, nurturing friendship, and quietly building the confidence that lets every child believe in their own future.

This is not aid. It is relationship the kind that lingers in a child’s life long after you’ve gone home.

The Project

A Home Built on Love and Hope.

ZASO offers children far more than accommodation. It offers a place to belong — and the unshakeable knowledge that someone is always there, paying attention, cheering them on. Every child is encouraged to dream, to grow, to laugh, and to build a brighter future regardless of their circumstances.

"Every child here is given room to be loud, to be silly, to be still — to simply be themselves."

YOUR ROLE

How You'll Make a Difference

Learning Support

Help with homework, reading and educational activities that build confidence and encourage curiosity.

Creative Activities

Sports, music, art, crafts, dancing and games — space for children to express themselves while having fun.

Daily Life

Share everyday moments: cooking together, celebrating birthdays, helping with chores, creating a family atmosphere.

Simply Being There

Sometimes listening, laughing together, or spending quiet quality time is the most meaningful gift you can give.

WHY IT MATTERS

Every child deserves

to feel loved.

Children living with HIV often face misunderstanding, social stigma, and emotional challenges far heavier than any child should carry alone. At ZASO, fear is replaced with acceptance, loneliness with friendship, uncertainty with hope. Every volunteer helps build an environment where children feel seen, valued and supported — not as a project, but as people who matter.

“Sometimes the greatest gift we can offer a child is simply letting them know they matter.”
